@charlyblack as I said, this "p2p" part is still fuzzy in my head. is the stuff replicated somewhere? who gets writing rights? what is this "seeding" thing?
Other than this, I love the idea of both self-hosting and of finding an alternative to Dropbox

btw as far as I understand now a peer cannot write directly but can make a copy and edit that
