@smonff As long as you package it (in a deb) for posterity, it's a good idea. (And store it away from the current machine, etc. etc.)
@smonff You can skip ahead a bit by using FPM (https://github.com/jordansissel/fpm), if I quickly need a package of something that's what I use.

@cwood looks nice but I have no idea of how to do it, and I remember the only time I packaged something for the AUR, I almost got insulted by some people lol
