@kris @deadsuperhero @tsyesika @moggers87 MediaGoblin in its present form is currently being maintained, but mostly by @breton and others.
I am working on Spritely, which IMO is "MediaGoblin, The Next Generation", but whether or not the MediaGoblin community agrees that Spritely is the future of MediaGoblin is dependent on the GMG community (Spritely will move forward regardless). I also need to have more written before we can have that conversation.
@kris @deadsuperhero @tsyesika @moggers87 @breton Right now Spritely isn't something anyone can remotely use. I'm working on foundational infrastructure.
If I want to understand. Mediagoblin will become Spritely ? New project new name ?
I guess you can see this interview is the first "public" announcement of Spritely as the future of my work (though some folks have heard me make small rumblings about it on here)
I'm currently laying down infrastructure for it. More news soon.
