Often when i see those colourful, big, asym shawl designs by Josh Rhyker or Stephen West, I have the urge to make one of those, as a symbol and anchor through this journey of finding myself, figuring out this gender shit, and getting through and hopefully beyond this stressful and painful time.
but then: which??
buy such huge amount of that expensive yarn??
ahhh!!
buut: I have one very beautiful luxury squishy skein of yarn without any plans for at home. i could just start with that one and then see as i go...
and then: these shawls are so modular and so "random", somehow. in a way not too difficult.
i could just start somehow with my fancy skein and then make something up by myself and see as i go, what happens. that way it also suits the diarylike way + is suitable for accompanying my journey...

@knittingsquirrel (ich glaube ich mach tatsächlich grade was ähnliches. Ich stricke ja dieses große bunte komplizierte westknits Ding und habe den Eindruck, dass da diese ganzen gender Gedanken sehr mit einfließen.)
