I'm afraid the mobile web interface of v1.3.3 is even worse than v1.3.1. Partial workaround (android): MouseApp (not v0.9 but v0.8) available at f-droid.org.

Caution:
1) MouseApp v0.9 is unable to log in at least for my instance running TootSuite v1.3.3. Use v0.8 instead.
2) MouseApp will save your passphrase uncrypted in mouseapp.xml.
