@cardamomo The funny thing about Mastodon is that it's so complicated when you explain it to someone who's never used it, but then once you've been here for a few days federation makes total sense

I mean, it's a different social group. I say different things here than I do on Twitter or Tumblr...
Part of "how it fits into your life" might just be who your instance & federation bring you into contact with & what they do. My first account was on octodon, but I liked the people I met from the Shop and decided to move over.
