i think the new macbook/macbook pro keyboards have the reputation for being loud because people type too hard
@bunnyhero v unpopular opinion but they're p pleasant to type on. very crunchy.

@tom ah yeah. i have the 2016 13". the worst part about the keyboard is its unreliability :( my left command key is a little flaky now

@bunnyhero I'm still kinda scared of upgrading. My 2015 model is the perfect machine for me (esp. since it still has all the ports) and I don't think they'll ever make anything like it again hahah
@tom yeah understandable. i'm one of the ones that overall likes the new models, but the keyboard reliability is a real issue, and the trade-offs apple made with this line don't work for everyone, by a long shot
@bunnyhero I've never used one for more than a couple of minutes though since my mbp (2015 13" model) still has the older style keyboard
