@TQ it was originally a kickstarter, with their first batches coming to fruition. First impressions are really positive... I'll start trying it for real later in the week... will post how I get on with it.

@bseymour Looks pretty neat. I have no use case for it atm, but it's interesting nontheless.

Kickstarter, on the other hand... I've had some REALLY bad experiences with kickstarter projects. Customer service on that site is so shitty. One project simply... vanished. Left hundreds of customers crying out for their money, including me. Nothing happened.
I won't be back there anytime soon!

@TQ I've certainly got some KS projects very long overdue. This one was recommended by a friend who knew the team - and I think will be available independently of KS if ever you're tempted.

@twistedonion ah, I was fortunate as an early backer to get a lifetime deal on the service... otherwise, you're right, the yearly subscriptions could have put me off too.

@bseymour it has just given me an idea of what to do with an old makey makey I have lying around, strips of foil or something down the side of the monitor to flip tasks. There's a weekend project that'll probably never get done!
