@number73 In the sense that Octodon is a 'room'? Or it's just 1 server that enables you to access Mastodon? Why are there so many different servers though?
@britt Gotcha. Think of it like email. We're on Octadon like we might both be on Gmail but we can still send and receive messages with folks on Outlook or Hotmail.
@number73 I see. So EVERYONE'S toots (lovin' da term) appear in the federated timeline though? That seems pretty overwhelming.
