Hi @starbreaker, Im one one of the new folks here. I am blind and thefore use this platform with a screenreader. One important question: I can't serch for people or things like a hashtag. I can fill in what ever i want in the field, but get no results. May an accessibilityproblem be the reason?

@balouqlc Sounds like it. Can you please tell us what screen reader you're using, and any other details about your setup you care to include? I can use that information when I open an issue on Github on your behalf (if you want me to).

@starbreaker That would be great. I am using google crome and my screenreader is www.nvda-project.org. You can even download it for free and so make a test yourself. Also tryed with internet explorer and firefox.

@balouqlc @starbreaker probably not. The search is really bad, and usually doesn't find much at all. At least that's what I've seen.

@loke @balouqlc I sometimes get results from the search. OP isn't getting anything at all. At least, nothing that NVDA can pick up and read out.

@loke Well, I tested with simple terms like or hashtags I hav seen here, so I knew, that there should be some results. But no chance.Another point, It is very hard to find messages or replys, that were being sent to me. :-( I am afraid, there is still a lot of work to do for the devellopers. :-( I understand, that all work is done here without money, but if I can't take part in this, why should I stay here? 😟

@balouqlc Finding the replies is quite easy. They should all be available in the “Notifications” feed.

Are you using a client and if so, which one? Or are you just using the normal web site?

@loke Well, I found the replys afterall. Had to hav a break, and after that it worked. ;-) However, is there any Desktopclient or even better an App for IOS I could use? Haven't found something of interest so far, which does not mean, that there is nocthing. ;-)

@balouqlc well, perhaps the Emacs client could be useful?

@balouqlc @starbreaker Can you try searching for the hashtag #introductions ? That's a very common one that should get you results on any instance with more than a few users—the results should be more or less definitive.
