Mastodon is a refreshingly nice place. It feels like the beginning of the Internet, when the norm was that people are nice to one another.
It would be interesting to find out why it is so.
Unfortunately, I am afraid that the reason is simply that the reason is simply that the place is still relatively new so that a social hierarchy between members has not been established yet.

in fact, the dark web do hosts illegal stuff because it is possible but, you can't get on an illegal webpage if you were'nt looking for it. that's the dark web. You only get what you are looking for. If you want to start on the dark web, download TorBrowser and go on the hiddenwiki
