Echo, Siri, Go and Cortana are clever ploys; they portray these "smart" things as hip, then get fools to explicitly consent to 24/7 bugging

I wonder how it will be in, say, 10 years. Will everyone have one of these devices that listens and films everything they do 24h/24? Will one be required to give access to the recordings of their private life, communications, internet browsing history and GPS position to be able to get a job or a plane ticket?
Surveillance is creeping in. And if surveillance is everywhere, the one who did not agree to be bugged will stand out.

We all have something to hide: the credentials to our bank account. That is the problem: at the same time that we generalize corporate spying, we also create a network where people can only identify with some secrets that only they are supposed to know.
My bank asks a few random questions to make sure it is me online like my birth date, the name of my mother, etc...
