WETA has started a show called "Check Please!" that has a panel of random people review #restaurants.
I was looking for a clip from it on Youtube, and it turns out there are long-running "Check Please!" shows in the Bay Area and Chicago. In 2001 the Chicago show had then-State Senator Barack Obama on the panel.
