@stylus that is fascinating. I think in essence he's explaining monks and nuns, isn't he? That they are superior in the eyes of the Lord because they did not feel the compunction to marry? Although I love all the "despite everything I have said, get married if you want, it's fine" type stuff. I love the bible as a piece of historical writing.
