Bodhi is awesome, though. This machine cost me $35 second hand. Ubuntu dragged on it. Bodhi is zippy AF. Peppermint isn't quite so zippy, but it's pretty, and I like pretty, so.
@vamp I like peppermint. right now I don't have a Linux install for the first Tim in 10 years. I'm a little hesitant to dual boot my windows box with win 10....also it's the first ufei boot machine I've ever owned and although I turned off ufei my first try at installing Linux (with ufei still engaged) backfired badly.
@Zaphodbblx UEFI scares the hell outta me, tbh. Good thing I like to buy second hand computers, always pick the Win7 ones so I don't have to deal with it. I bought my big laptop new, though. Just a year or so ago? Win7, but UEFI. Installed Ubuntu as a dual boot (saving the win7 for hubs games), hell of a mission. *shudder*
