I don't use Mastodon very heavily, but so far i've only needed to use mutes for the odd techbro or autocratic Linux enthusiast.

@MissSnarkerson That's alright, at least it wasn't a personal confrontation. I think dealing with this stuff on Telegram has desensitised me to these kinds of things X)
