Can anyone recommend a good text editor that's macOS compatible, good with Python and isn't Atom? :D
@Takanu
If you want a simple but reliable graphical option, you have the IDE Geany. You have emacs or vim too if you want a text editor only. Atom though is a text editor is too resource hunger to be a text editor as always as an app made in electron. About a closed source option would be sublime text but you have to pay the license or use the developer version that is free but annoying with the notification of buy the license every 3 saves of a file..
@Jolt2bolt Thanks for the recommendations. I more don't like Atom just because of the interface and overall feel of it, but it's performance is a big part of that problem.
@Takanu
I really fond of geany. A jewel unnotice. Although is an IDE, it's not overwhelming like most text editors for programmer tje the market offers today. Simple and yet fully simple and what more important low resource demand
@Jolt2bolt It seems alright and i'm happy you like it, but I must admit it doesn't seem like the IDE for me 🙊
@Jolt2bolt I wasn't questioning it's status as an IDE, I was just saying that it doesn't look like the right program for me. I really appreciate the suggestion though :)
