TY! It's NOT completely private, even if marked as such when sent. It seems to not show up on the timelines (good), but DOES show up on the @translator page. (Bad, if you don't realise this & want your message to be private.)
One plus, for ppl who like to see the different languages & don't want auto-translation, is that each message is delivered twice: once from sender in the native language & once from translator in specified language
