Hellooooooooo Fediverse! I'm back from a two week vacation in Jackson Hole where I had no laptop and no Mastodon and a mind-blowing amazing Total Solar Eclipse.
What have I missed this past fortnight? Anything good going on in your lives?
@filkerdave Ugh, that sounds INCREDIBLE. Do you have pics somewhere of the eclipse?
@filkerdave I'm actually considering going to Antarctica for the 2021 eclipse-- it's during the travel season for Antarctica and I've been meaning to go there for awhile ANYWAY.

@SuzanEraslan Nothing really good. I misplaced my camera a year back and never got around to replacing it. I have one shot from my phone that I took during totality but it's not great. But, honestly, no picture could ever do it justice. (The next one in the US is 2024 and the centerline of totality runs right through Buffalo. That's pretty close to us!)
