My dog has had really bad, several hours long anxiety spells the last few days, and it looks like she has dementia. Between that, her heart disease, and cancer, I'm kind of staring down the barrel of the end with her and it sucks.
@SuzanEraslan the death of dog, either expected or unexpected is really hard. just take solace in knowing that she will no longer have the heart disease, the cancer or anything. she'll be a happy puppy waiting on you. just enjoy the last bit of time you have together and keep the girl comfy and give her plenty of love (which i know you will).
@churley79 It's really hard right now because she's having these hours long crying/barking/screaming attacks as soon as it gets to be evening, and it's exhausting. I try not to be mad at her, but I can't get work done (and I have vet bills to pay).
@SuzanEraslan oh I feel for you. We lost our very elderly kitty about a year and a half ago and she had been ill for a long time. It's so hard. How long has your sweet dog been with you? I'd love to see a photo when we get image posting capability back.
Lucía has been pretty listless all day, and has stopped eating. The soonest we can see the vet is Tuesday afternoon. She doesn't have any other symptoms than just "generally upset," and I don't know that I want to take her to the puppER. I really hate this.
