@SmittenKitten If you're looking for a symbol and don't know the LaTeX way to write it, check out http://detexify.kirelabs.org/classify.html, it's a ML classifier that lets you draw the symbol you want and gives you the closest matches.

@SmittenKitten No prolbem, I wish I had known it back when I was writing math homework in TeX, would've saved me some trouble...
