@Siphonay The only things misgendering accomplishes are either demeaning/delegitimizing another human being or attempting to impose a personal interpretation of reality onto others (asserting the superiority of one's own experiences or ideas), both of which are the marks of small and vile minds.

@wakest I pretty much always say they/their. I don't think we need to use gender at all when talking about something
@kodo I have been trying for a while to remove as much gendered language from my daily vocab as I can manage.

@kodo misgendering is calling people using the wrong gender. it's especially disrespectful if done on purpose, and even more on a trans person

@Siphonay really? You're saying their should be ground rules when trading insults with jerks? The point of insulting someone who's a jerk is to push their buttons. Whatever makes them feel like shit, you use. It's part of what insulting people has always been about.
