I just changed my S9's firmware from my service provider's to the "naked" one. Without OEM unlocking. Without voiding warranty. Without even losing ANY data. This is great. I'll get faster OTA updates, and no ugly "Orange F" text permanently taking space up in the notification bar
Downloading the firmware, applying it and rebooting my phone took at most ten minutes
Can't believe how much of a breeze this process was. Pretty sure my mom could do it
