Tooting via TootyFruity. Bright interface.
Your personal, local, and federated timelines are condensed into a single tab, you cycle by clicking an icon on the top right.
It is impossible to reply to, star, or boost a toot? Does this app really not do that yet?
Aha!
That's hidden!
You push the toot to the right to unveil star/boost buttons. Push to the left to unveil a reply button.
Slick.

Star/boost/reply interface is hidden. No tutorial yet, but once it's added it'll be obvious.

The way it handles timelines is kind of annoying. I get that it condenses the buttons needed to switch, but it does so by increasing the amount of interaction necessary. Plus, it's a bit hard to tell exactly which timeline you're looking at.
Tootyfruity also allows multi-user use, which Tusky doesn't.
Hm, I do like what it's got so far. Even though it's early access, it already in some ways is nicer than Tusky, and obvious ways it can be improved further.
The biggest drawback is how it handles your timelines. It's just not very clear and requires some fumbling.
In fact, Tootyfruity doesn't show *any* fullnames, even in expanded view. You're not shown what instance anyone is on. This is unacceptable.
My opinion: Tootyfruity will be amazing once gets finished. Right now it's missing several vital features due to a desire for minimalism. Its toot screen is excellent, far far better than Tusky. It just needs to be more messy.
Uninstalling, will try it again as it evolves. Its finished version will almost certainly rock.
@Pookleblinky By multi-user, do you mean multi-instance? Can I easily access my different instance accounts?
@RexfordGTugwell technically yes. But as you can see from the screencap, it doesn't yet show you which instances.

Ok, this is definitely a problem. Why on EARTH would you allow multiple accounts but not show which instance they're on? This almost completey vitiates the usefulness of this feature.
