Today water fell from the sky as a liquid, not a solid. About a dozen people left the offices just to stand in it and laugh!
I'm not saying that #Canada is perfect. There's still a lot of anti-immigrant sentiment, our treatment of Native peoples is appalling (Yes, a lot of us see the irony), white nationalism is growing, and we have our fair share of right-wing conservatives that want to slash social programs in favour of corporate interest.
A lot of folks think that this is because of American influence, but those elements have always been there.
Everyone always asks why #Canadians are so laid back. Well, for 5 months of the year it hurts to breathe. Where I am, daylight starts at about 10:00am and fades by 4:00pm. Our wildlife consists mostly of hormonal killing machines. It's our favourite season!
