Liked your comment about 'the confediverse'. We're a new instance trying to strike a balance between freedom and safety and the issue gets more hairy each time I look at it.
Who knew self-governance would turn out to be so complicated...
@yair I worry that, because sunk cost intensifies with every toot and there is no way to transfer accounts, people will really dig in on issues relating to their instance's relationship to the fediverse. They cant leave, so they have to fight for what they want. I hope its not that bad.
