My goodness I wish there was a widely accepted open password manager standard. Dealing with the intricacies of password resets with LastPass across various sites and apps is really annoying.

It's not even that (though I super agree with you), just having a website or app have universal hooks that recognize password managers and don't require me copy/pasting and manually creating entries in LastPass directly would be 💯 times better

ahhh, yes, that is annoying....I'm lucky (I guess?) that the auto fill/auto create works for me on most sites....

Yeah most of the time it works fine, but sometimes a site won't let me paste the password into the fields or puts my email into the confirm password field. It's just so clunky, and it's only fixable if everyone starts agreeing to a single standard.
