Even though I'm the one that initiated the divorce, and we both have been separated for a while I still feel like garbage filling out the initial divorce petition.
It somehow feels like I am a failure for not making things work... :/
I keep trying to compartmentalize things, but I have a feeling I am going to be in a funk for a bit.
@Neff be kind to yourself, pal... maybe seek out some therapy - if talking about your feelings isn't your thing, focus on the change management aspect...

Yeah I've been in therapy for a while now. I was just surprised that almost 9 months in I'm still processing emotions
