Did the math: I have reliable EI payments until September, then I'm all out. My lease is up in july, rent is going up, and I still don't really have a lead on any work.

I'm not rushing or panicking or anything, but I'd like to stretch out my safety net as far as possible. Between EI and savings I might be ok until... December? Life is expensive.

shrug. I don't know. I don't know where I'm going.

I have to justify my EI payments tomorrow by proving I'm looking hard enough or they stop them.

@Mainebot Taking a break is a good idea. You could try and have a learning goal during that time (and even just do a shit load of Duolingo), it makes you feel more positive whilst you're looking for work. If it's possible, get yourself a job search buddy. Doesn't have to be the same kind of job, you just meet every week and give each other positivity. Worked for me when I did it. (Let me know if you want el-cheapo healthy recipes!)
