@Mainebot I mean, the part of "selling your content to each other" is kinda like saying ISPs are selling Internet websites to each user. Which they aren't. They're selling the infrastructure and tools required to make that connection happen. You could do (and some do) that with something like Mastodon and it'd be just fine.
