I’m trying to figure out what the percentage is of movies/shows with a Muslim terrorist plot versus the number of real terrorist attacks by people with an Islamic background and then compare that to the percentage of movies/shows with a white American terrorism plot versus the number of real life white American terrorism attacks.

@Lexialex I would be very interested in the final results. My suspicion is that it’s going to be an inverse relationship.

I do wonder if it is a 'choose your own nihilism' though.
@Lexialex It's an interesting point. The modern film industry will always reach for the villain du-jour, and that villain, for the noughties at least, is definitely the islamic terrorist.
