Watched the Christopher Robin teaser earlier today. It’s kinda unnerving that the film is going for the “work-devoted Dad abandoning family promises” angle, since so many films have executed this with very little success. But judging from the choice of set pieces, mood, and atmosphere...it could be the one movie that actually gets this right. It’s probably the take on reconnecting with childhood Hook wishes it could have been.
And I actually dig how Pooh looks in CGI form. I say it’s more closer to how he was in the original illustrations for Milne’s novels than the super-clean version Disney has been peddling since the 70’s animated shorts.
