@Iuckyduck I read this earlier too, and yeah he does seem like a decent guy, and I hope things get better for him, because having your privacy violated like that and nowhere to turn because "that's Hollywood" and shitty expectations for men is suffocating and terrible.

i was a big fan of brendan fraser in his "mummy" days and i'm even more so after the recent GQ article.

my main takeaway from it was:

even if it was only for a moment,

and even though it only happened the one time,

and even though it seems like many men and almost every woman experiences much worse at some point,

better people than me can still be pretty damaged by that one brief violation

so it's okay & legit to feel a little bit fucked up about the time it happened to me
