I've just been reviewing my library on drivethrurpg. It turns out I've bought a metric assload of games that I won't ever actually play.

@Ipsifendus You can always cannibalise them for parts. And I find reading good games helps me run other games better. e.g. it's always worth reading Robin Laws, even if you're never going to run anything he's written.

@howfar Robin is great, and Ken Hite as well. Pelgrane Press accounts for a huge share of the overload in my library. I got onto Trail of Cthulhu via a Bundle of Holding offer a few years back, and I've just kept adding to the pile.

@Ipsifendus I'm similar. Ken is one of the great showmen - a hyperintellectual PT Barnum.

Although (almost embarrassingly when I think about the trauma for lots of EEA nationals living in the UK in particular), the largest single effect the Brexit vote has had on *me* so far is curbing my online RPG buying by making the $:£ exchange rate so much closer.

@Ipsifendus I'm in the same situation. I just sold off most of my physical collection for that reason.

@Canageek The main virtue of physical books is that there's a hard limit to how many I can accumulate in my tiny condo. But in terms of electronic material I rival the worst cases you've ever seen depicted on "Horders".
