Being an old lady, I am prone to bouts of missing things from my youth. Today I miss writing in the margins of paperbacks I borrow/loan to friends so when they read the book later they get my silly running commentary along with the book. I think that is basically what book clubs are though? That is a thing old ladies do, right?
@Gogogadgetpants I mean, you can still do that, if you have people to lend them to, or just to make notes to your future self
@DialMforMara I do leave notes in my own books, but the only pal I trade books with these days prefers to keep books mint and would be offended by the scribbles. They're exclusively for me!
