so let's play pro's/con's.
con: my (separated) wife came and picked up my daughter for the night - so now it's just me and the dogs.
pro: at least i have a new episode of river monsters to watch.

@churley79 I hope you enjoy the heck out of it. As Louis CK once said, "My daughter would be heartbroken if she knew how much ice cream I eat while she's asleep." I'm only a fake mom, but he's one of my parenting role models. ;)
@Gogogadgetpants my daughter is my wife's from her previous marriage. i adopted her. point being, doesn't make you a fake mom because you don't share dna.
@churley79 Aww, I know. I frequently feel like an imposter when I do parent things though, and I try to be respectful of her biological mom's position, thus I joke about not being "real."
