Okey, so are the tags a thing on Mastodon or not? Should I use them to "reach more people"

@GeekDaddy you can achieve that by simply using "public". The tags don't have a very big visibility
@GeekDaddy While there's search support for hashtags, people don't seem to make enough use of them to make it worth doing searches.
If there were an emerging event or really hot topic, though, you might be able to find (and broadcast) stuff that way.
@GeekDaddy they exist and work. But ... I dunno if you'll reach anyone with that. There's no trending tags thing and also no analytics
