@fobo Centaurea, probably C. montana. Itās a Eurasian plant thatās invasive (but pretty). Not a thistle, but same family, thus the resemblance. Aka perennial bachelorās buttons.

@fobo Just try to make them budge (they wonāt, by the way). š Thatās a relief that you donāt mind, as I tend to overshare without anyone asking.
I do think theyāre beautiful, but Iād like these better if I hadnāt spent so much time trying to permanently ābudgeā them. 𤨠(I was a professional gardener before I had kids.)

Weigh in any time, I always appreciate it on plants and such, as I'm pretty much a novice. They just sprouted in that spot the first spring we lived in this house, and haven't really budged as they seem to like it in that spot. They're pretty enough to keep them around.
