Anyone else doing their taxes today?

@Frankenbeans doin' it old school? nice! i started that way years ago when i could still do a 1040 EZ but started with HR Block's software after buying a house and used Credit Karma's free software this year and was pretty happy with it.
@nickchapman I've got a 1099, which cost me a rage-inducing $85 on Turbo Tax a few years ago, so I have been doing them by paper since. I'm just finishing up my federal return (15 minutes time, since I go for standard deduction). The only hiccup is Michigan has a property tax credit for us poors, which requires much more math.
@nickchapman Somewhere along the line, I moved to a higher tax bracket by a dollar, so I'm already taxing while angry. And, the state return has lots of words in it about withholding schedules. I have spoken and written the English language my entire life, but this is coming off as gibberish.
@Frankenbeans $85 is steep! I may have paid $50 for a premium variant when I had a rental property and business...but the free one with KC seemed just fine as a homeowner. Seemed pretty similar to the experience I got with HRB. Hope the math goes well!
