@FeyTechnologist Makes the OS mildly more annoying to certain groups of compsci people, thus ensuring the Windows user base slants slightly more toward "normal" users?
@FeyTechnologist POSIX compatibility? You can have spaces in Unix path names, too. It isn't necessarily a GOOD IDEA, but you can do it.
