In class this afternoon, one of my students was attempting to watch a movie on a little media player. After I confiscated it, he got out a magazine. While confiscating that, I saw his iPhone up his sleeve, so I took that too. When I gave him a chance to give just one reason I shouldn't hand his contraband over to his teacher, he was silent. I guess he didn't believe I would. #teachingmoment
