In a way, they were, I think, because the fact they were lying denied them the protection (what little there is of it) for legit whistle-blowers. But yeah, I hear what you're saying.
@ElectricMink Also in this case it is really important that these guys get as much negativ attention as possible considering that their video was used as a basis of laws.
I just hope that it does not set a bad example.

@ElectricMink Ugh, i do not like it.
I do want to see these two guys in Jail.
But because they were lying, not because they where violating the privacy of people while these people were doing their jobs. That could easily be used against honest whistle blowers too :/
