@thindol I also just realized that because it is uncentralized, I had to create a new account for @mastodon
@DictionaryPlus It doesn't lend itself well to rambling shower essays, but pretty good for longer form Twitter-like chats. But I do like it for FB-like "I did a cool thing!" updates.
A favorite cultural thing is that the use of CW is extensive - both for actual warnings (sensitive content or just general "this is a rant/political/etc") and Tumblr-like "Continue Reading."
