Turns out the Tory solution to tax dodgers is... don't tax them?
@Nafrondel That's an utter misrepresentation of the actual policy.
They're only planning to let the rich ones off; they're still planning to hammer people who got a few quid too much Working Tax Credit.
@DaveHiggins Oops. Forgot to say "rich" there.
So on to the next point - according to the Torys, earning £70k is barely enough to live on now that houses cost hundreds of Ks. Therefore should be taxed even less.
@Nafrondel My preferred solution would be for the government to fix the issue of so many houses costing so much.
Rather than use it as a reason to prop up their tax ambitions.
