maybe instead of the default being to put everything into the same timeline we should push users to arrange a few queues they expect to read completely
@CobaltVelvet Perhaps a "soft" push would do: no one mentioned lists when I started using Mastodon, so if I weren't the sort of person who looked to see what things did, I might have missed them.
So, perhaps a mention that they exist as part of the sign-up would do without the need for adding function burden.
