Trying to get an understanding of Mastodon settings. What is the difference in regards to Mute and Block here in octodon.social or the service as a whole?
@bradlibum Would make sense. I'm assuming it works on a federated level as well to avoid abuse from other instances.
@DarwinsToffees Mute means that you don't see their toots, but they can see yours. Block means that you don't see their posts and they can't see any of yours.
@DarwinsToffees From my understanding, Mute makes it so you do not see someone's toots on your timeline anymore. I believe Blocking does the same thing as well as preventing the person from seeing your toots. Again, just from my understanding.
