i still like the idea of executable toots, that outputs text or pixels or image urls. you would get such flexibility with this. add features, test for features, support fallbacks, make a whole app in a toot. you could run doom in a toot and boost it.

you have gifs i'm pretty sure a good doom implementation would be more efficient than hd gifs. and surely better looking.
you could pick the compression algorithm in your toot and render 3d scenes
