been boycotting twitter mostly for the last 6 months and it worked out fine
@CobaltVelvet Did you have any success trying to find twitter people again on Mastodon? That's mostly what's holding me back.
@Lyall_Morrison many people moved at the same time, for close friends i have other means anyway, and i don't miss famous people and all that. I thought i would, but i just didn't.
@CobaltVelvet same I still tweet but mostly use mastodon and when I talk about it to friends they say "but there's nobody on it, it's basically dead" 
@CobaltVelvet - I just closed my account. Same for Facebook 4 years ago - no problem at all.
