So I spent most of the day today wrestling with a leakey toilet. Plumbing is not one of my core competencies.
But I successfully pulled up the toilet, removed the tank, and determined it was leaking in two places. Tank to toilet and toilet to floor. I got the parts to fix it. But when I scraped off the wax seal, I discovered the bottom ring of the toilet is broken off.
I get to buy a new one anyway.
If I keep this up, I can add plumber to my LinkedIn. ugh
