This is big news, the SRT video transport protocol, that aims to provide high-quality, low-latency video streams, now is free (as in freedom) software, under a LGPLv2.1 license. Not the most optimal, but nevertheless, it's quite sufficient. #SliceOfBread https://github.com/Haivision/srt
